Wonderfully fruited and inviting, the wine shows Black Doris plum, mixed berry compote, vanilla and cedary wood characters on the nose, leading to a succulent palate that is beautifully weighted and rounded. Gorgeously fruited and perfumed, the bouquet shows sweet raspberry, dark plum, violet, olive and roasted nut characters. The palate delivers excellent weight and fruit intensity, wonderfully framed by fine, polished tannins. It is immediately appealing and soothing. At its best: now to 2025. Anne-Inspired Shiraz 2017, 96 points | 5 Stars
This is a seductively delicious offering; the perfumed bouquet shows blackberry, dark plum, mint chocolate, cedar and warm spice aromas, followed by a concentrated palate that is powerful and opulent, while remaining firmly structured by loads of polished tannins.
