Family has always been at the heart of Dewey Station Wines. Our name honours generations of the Dewey and Innocent families, whose lives and livelihoods were shaped by the railway networks of England—a journey that inspired the name Dewey Station Wines.
This dream would never have become a reality without the unwavering love and support of our family. From the Coulthards in the UK, to Ellie's uncle, Shaky Kane, whose remarkable artistic talent brought our labels to life, each has played an important part in shaping our story. We also honour those looking down on us and forever in our hearts — Margret, Peter and Ann, the inspiration behind our flagship wine, Ann-Inspired. To our parents, Pop, and our fur-baby Harvey, we love you and thank you for believing in us. We hope every bottle makes you proud!

Founder and Winemaker Stefan Dewey's fascination with the Barossa landscape began through countless impromptu geology lessons from his mentor and lifelong friend, Stuart Bourne. Those conversations revealed that every sub-region even down to the vineyard has its own story; shaped by its climate, aspect and soil, it carries its own unique DNA.
From the sandy loams over black clay of the Southern Grounds to the ironstone-rich red, yellow and brown loams of the Northern Grounds, each vineyard site produces fruit with a distinct character and sense of place. It is this remarkable diversity that inspires every wine at Dewey Station and makes crafting wines from the Barossa both a privilege and an honour.
